Autumn Symphony

This month's challenge uses this Autumn themed mood board:

I used papers from DCWV and my favorite Rubber Dance Art Stamp.  I edged my diecut oval with a Krylon gold leafing pen.  I added some silk leaves that I embellished with gold Stickles.  I added a bit of gold "splatters" from my Krylon pen.  A gold spider web ribbon completes my design.

Loving the cool, crisp Autumn air and the gorgeous colors of my favorite season.....................................Paulette

Autumn Wheelbarrow

I created this card for the Die-namites Dies October Inspiration Challenge.  The challenge uses this photo and requires an autumn or Halloween theme.

I chose this die as my starting off point.
The woodgrain designer paper is from the DCWV Good Wood stack.  A friend supplied the leaves.  The center leaf is a rhinestone maple leaf.  I also added a spider web gold ribbon.  I used a Kyrlon gold leafing pen to outline the image and to splatter gold onto the card.

Sending a wheelbarrow of warm wishes your way.....Paulette

Ocean Poetry

The challenge for October on the Unruly Paper Readers' Art Quest is to use this mood board for colors and to design with a nautical theme:

I chose stamps from Rubber Dance Art Stamps,  I used a Spellbinders embossing folder to create the background.  I stamped with faded jeans Ranger distress ink and added several half pearls for embellishment.

Thanks for looking......................................Paulette

Spooky Delights!

Bats and Spiders and Ghosts...Oh My!

The October Stack-a-holic Challenge on the DCWV blog uses this sketch:

My card uses the DCWV Spooky Delights stack.  I won this whimsical Halloween themed stack in a DCWV Facebook comment contest.  The papers are all from this stack and the embellishments I added to my design are a Cricut ghost, a spider brad and a couple of googlie eyes.
I'm loving this DCWV stack so much that the papers also inspired these two Halloween cards:
                                                       Cats in the Grave Yard

                                                              Trick or Treat Bus

I'm making plans for an exciting Halloween...............Paulette

Hope you are planning to "Get Your Boo On" for Halloween..............Paulette
